Book Rec

                             

So if there’s something that I’ve being a lot of since I got to Paris (and I do mean something else than drinking wine), it’s reading. And so, I bought this book not 2 days ago and I’m already done with it. I grant it is not a very long or complicated book but actually it goes way beyond that…this book is absolutely brilliant. 

If you want to know what it is about, I suggest you go read the review because I tried to explain it to my mum and failed spectacularly so…go forth and discover! But what you must know is that this book is good. It made me giggle and snort and cry out and by the end of it I had tears in my eyes and my heart was in my fucking throat and I loved every moment of it. 

I was a little sad when I reached the end. That’s when I know I love a book.

I shall give you one of my favourite fragments:

The Reverend Peters said , ‘Well, when I say that heaven is outside the universe it’s really just a manner of speaking. I suppose what it really means is that they are with God.’

And I replied, ‘But where is God?’

And the Revered Peters said that we should talk about this on another day when he has more time.
